Bvlgari Hotels - Bringing Italian style luxury to Beijing

Bvlgari was founded in Rome in 1884 as a jewelry shop and quickly established a reputation for Italian excellence with exquisite craftsmanship and magnificent jewelry creations. The company’s international success has evolved into a global and diversified luxury purveyor of products and services, ranging from fine jewels and watches to leather products, silverwares, perfumes and hotels.

It entered the hotel industry at the start of the 21st century. Right now the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection has six iconic hotels and resorts in the world: Milan, Bali, London, Beijing, Dubai and Shanghai. Five new Bvlgari Hotels are also due to open from 2021 to 2024 in Paris, Rome, Moscow, Tokyo and Miami. China is the only country which has two Bvlgari hotels. All are masterpieces by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, one of the most distinguished architectural firms in Italy. Taking inspiration from Bvlgari’s unique jewelry-making process, architects blend Italian-style luxury into the culture of each destination.

The Chinese market is one of the fastest-paced markets in the world, and Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts would like to have a hotel in Hong Kong, as well as a resort perhaps someday in China in a magical, unspoiled location. Hotel Beijing was opened in 2017, and is referred to as an ‘urban resort’. It is located in the Chaoyang district amid the prestigious green surroundings of Embassy Row - the heart of China’s capital. The hotel’s design maintains an uncompromisingly Italian style, while simultaneously incorporating the uniqueness of its destination.

Despite global uncertainties and the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, China has also sent a clear signal the Chinese economy has rapidly recovered from the epidemic to strong growth. Bvlgari Hotel Beijing has been very successful, and there are many loyal customers who love the brand, and many travelers from all over China and surrounding cities, as well as Beijing locals.
